Our going Ons...

Jennifer is still in the hospital. They finished the steroids for Isabella, now just waiting to hear when they think they are going to induce. Jenn is getting really sick, her heartbeat is irregular now too, and I don't understand why they haven't induced her yet. They must know something we don't.
I think that I am going to finally order a new stroller today. I love our jogging stroller, but I want something a little lighter and more compact for everyday use. So, Joovy Kooper, here we come!

Tomorrow is my last final and then I have two weeks off until Summer classes start. I am looking forward to hanging out with Will without worrying about homework I have to do etc. I am also excited about all of the projects we are finishing up around the house. We have the painting in the kitchen done and the backsplash up and we have the sunroom gutted so we can start remaking it into a playroom for Will! So much more to do though...

My sister and niece

So my sister Jennifer was admitted to the hospital today because she was vomiting and dizzy. She is 35 weeks pregnant right now with my niece Isabella. It turns out that she is in the beginning stages of Kidney failure and they are starting her on steroids to get Isabella's lungs developed quickly.
She lives about eight hours away, so we are waiting to hear from the doctor about when they think they are going to induce her so that we know when to start our trip down there. I just hope that it all turns out okay and both her and Isabella are fine.
Matt is home from work again today because of being sick. He is feeling a lot better, thankfully, just a bit weak yet.
Will is turning into a talking machine! He has a weird name for the cat now, something like ca-ca. He really likes to squeal too. I love watching his little face!
I am on level two of the 30 day shred now. Man, does it kick my butt!! I can get my pre-pregnancy pants on now though so that makes it worth it. They have more muffin top now than before William, but at least I can get them on!!!

What a weekend!

We had a whirlwind weekend to say the least! Friday Matt and I went to a fundraiser dinner at NMU. It was so much fun! We got to get all dressed up and it was only our second time out together since Will was born. Then Saturday we went to my Moms house in Manistique for my little sisters birthday party. She is 23 now! Way to be 1/3 of the way to 69 Jill!!! We got back home around 11:30 Saturday night and Matt started feeling a bit sick. So, Sunday and today have been spent with me being the Mommy to two little boys ;) Needless to say, I don't think that Matt will be making it to work tomorrow...stupid flu!

On to other news, Will said Dada for the first time yesterday. He thought that it was so funny when I would say it back to him. We did that for about 15 minutes last night. I just love when he discovers new things!! This wasn't his first word though, he has been saying up for about three weeks now. The coolest part about that is that he knows what it means! He will say it and then put his arms in the air to get me to pick him up. He is a genius lol!

I have been doing the 30 day shred by Jillian Micheals for 10 days now. I stepped it up to the level 2 workout yesterday and OH...MY...Goodness! After doing it again today my muscles are screaming at me for the cruel and unusual punishment I have been putting them through. I can't wait to fit back into my clothes though, so that is my motivation to continue my punishment of my body.

Well, it is time for me to hit the hay. This is the last week of classes and then I have finals next week. I will have two weeks off then, and it is on to Summer classes until the end of June. Then I get almost two months off, woohoooo!

So I decided it was time to start a blog, and now, here it is! It will be nice to look back after time and be able to remember my exact thoughts and feelings. It is so easy to forget things when you have got so much going on all of the time!
To give a brief introduction, my name is Janice. I am a 27 year old college student, wife, and most importantly Mother to our wonderful son William Otto. William is 8 months old today! My husband is Matt. He is 29 and a great provider, friend and Father. I feel so blessed everyday that God let me be a part of this wonderful family.
I will keep our introductions at that since you will get to know the 'real' us over the life of this blog.

I decided today that I need to take Summer classes so that next year is not so full. The way I have it scheduled now, I will only have to take 12 credits each next Fall and Winter semesters. I am bummed though, because I really wanted to be able to spend all of my time with William this summer. At least it is only two classes for a little over a month and then I will have July and most of August off.
William is getting so independent now. He is sitting on the floor right now playing with his toys. It is nice that he doesn't need me holding him all of the time anymore, but it also is another way that he is getting so big so fast. He also started pulling up to standing yesterday. I can't believe how fast he is growing up!
I am so glad today is Friday. I love our weekends together as a family. Matt works so much during the week that we don't usually get to spend too much quality time together. He also has three day weekends, Mondays off, so that is nice.
Well, I am looking forward to recording our families moments on this blog. Thanks for reading!!
